The town festival

If you are in Unna and it´s the 4th, the 5th or the 6th September, you can visit the town festival. There you can see a 100-hour-program on eight stages. More than 100,000 visitors are proof that the town festival is one of the biggest events on the region. There the people can dance, rock and laugh.

On the first day you can visit the festival from 5 o´clock till 1 o´clock. In the evening you can see the Cantus, which is a band of 11 old men who sing old songs. On the second day you can come from 12 o´clock till 1 o´clock. In the afternoon you can see bands and children with their dance groups. At night there bands for older people on the 8 stages.

On the last day you can go around from 12 o´clock till 6 o´clock. You can visit the children´s jumble sale or the children´s stage at the zib.

You can visit many stands. There are many rides for children and the big wheel for everybody. That is the best moment to meet friends or the family. You can celebrate or relax at the big wheel. You can have fun with friends and family or you can go alone.

At the town festival everything is possible.
